Where we are going, where we have been
It’s been, without question, an exciting few months here at SSC HQ. We wrapped up the Kickstarter campaign and have been beside ourselves with all the pictures and support we’ve gotten from people who’ve recieved their rewards.
Since sending out those rewards, we’ve been busy coordinating delivery of our Supply Kits with partner organizations. Our five Supply Kit partners will be receiving their first shipments soon, and we’re in process of working with some smaller organizations to get young storytellers the tools to help them tell their story.
We’ve also been establishing relationships with retailers. In our hometown of York, we’re delighted to announce you can now buy our products at Pippi’s Pen Shoppe and 56 Urban Provisions. We’ll also be making some noise at the Bandit Bazaar Holiday Market, a one day shopping extravaganza featuring some of the coolest makers, artists, and vendors in the region. Not going to be in York any time soon? No big deal, you can also buy Story Supply gear from our good friends at Metal Shop, and because we love the Twist Bullet Pencil from Metal Shop so much, we’ve also begun selling them in our recently opened online store.
Along with our Pocket Staple notebooks, Round-Barrel Pencils, and the Bullet Twist, you can now purchase Supply Kit Edition notebooks just like the ones we’ll be sending to kids in our partner organizations.
It’s just the tip of the iceberg for us, as we’re actively working on new products and partnerships both nationally and internationally to get supplies in the hands of as many storytellers as possible.
T’is the season of giving thanks
and we wouldn’t be here without all of you fine folks. We’re cooking up some deals as a thank you to those of you who receive our emails. Stay tuned for something special later this week. In the meantime, we encourage all of you to invite your friends and family to sign up.
We’d love to have them on our team as we, with your help, continue to build something awesome.
Vito and Gabe @ SSC.
